We are updating our agreement to remain compliant with new regulatory requirements in several jurisdictions where our users are located, and to reflect operational improvements we've made to the platform — including changes to how we handle data retention, transaction fee disclosures, and account security options.

These updates help us keep the platform available in your region and ensure we continue to meet evolving legal and industry standards. No action is required beyond reviewing and accepting the updated agreement.

This update concerns legal documentation only. Your balance, Litecoin (LTC) holdings, transaction history, and wallet access remain fully intact and unchanged.

Please review and accept the updated agreement before this date. Accounts that have not accepted the updated agreement by the deadline may have access restricted until acceptance is completed. Restricted accounts retain full custody of their funds at all times.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using litecoin.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by this User Agreement ("Agreement"). If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

Litecoin.com provides information, tools, and software interfaces for interacting with the Litecoin network. The Service is non-custodial.

2.1 (NEW) — The Service never takes possession of user funds. All transactions are executed directly on the Litecoin blockchain and are irreversible once broadcast.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.

4. Privacy & Data

We collect minimal personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4.2 (UPDATED) — Analytics and telemetry data is retained for a maximum of 12 months. Litecoin addresses, transaction IDs, and IP addresses are never associated with user accounts or sold to third parties.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful activity, including but not limited to money laundering, sanctions evasion, or fraud.

6. Fees

The Service does not charge platform fees. Network (miner) fees apply to all on-chain transactions.

6.1 (UPDATED) — Fee estimates are displayed prior to every transaction preview and are calculated from current network congestion data.

7. Security & 2FA

Users are responsible for safeguarding private keys and credentials.

7.3 (REMOVED/UPDATED) — SMS-based recovery has been discontinued. Two-factor authentication is available via authenticator applications (TOTP) and FIDO2 hardware security keys only.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. CRYPTOCURRENCY ASSETS ARE VOLATILE AND MAY LOSE VALUE.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Litecoin.com shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of funds due to user error, phishing, or network attacks.

10. Dispute Resolution — Arbitration

10.1 (NEW) — Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration, except where prohibited by applicable law. You waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing Law

11.1 (UPDATED) — This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside where required by local consumer protection regulation; otherwise, by the laws of the jurisdiction of the Service operator.

12. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time in response to regulatory or operational requirements. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days before the effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
